Dec 17th - Christmas baskets at Messiah.

Jan 21st-- our next project with Central Detroit Community Development Corp (we'll just refer to it as CDC).
We'll be helping out with their PeopleMovers project - where we help out some Detroit residents with much-needed repairs on their homes, mostly elderly people. CDC will provide the tools so please spread the word and come!

There are two opportunities for us in the future with CDC. Let us know if you're interested!

K-5 Enrichment Program:
Monday and Tuesday evenings from 5:30-8pm, an academic enrichment program for K-5th graders, held at two area churches.

Workforce Enrichment Program:
CDC owns a Tasty-Freeze franchise and selects 15-20 high-school students to receive 6-weeks of job training there plus an additional 6-weeks of community service. After that, they are paired with a mentor to partner with them and meet with them at least once a month to connect, etc. Requirements: Love Jesus and have a job!
